An Nho O Dau (ANOD) or Vietnamese Couchsurfing Network was launched on March 12th, 2014.

This is a social network created by Hien Nguyen, a Graduate Student in Economics and Business Administration at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Dzung Phan, a Graduate Student in Computer Science at University of Massachusetts in Boston and Nhan La, a Graduate Student in Public Health at Penn State University.

The purpose of the network is to help the Vietnamese students worldwide to travel on budget and develop relationships among members of the group based on reliable information. The Vietnamese name “An nho o dau” means to trust in the goodness of the community therefore depend on the community.
